Every Picture Tells a Story...Every Story Brings a Picture to Mind

What do you think about when you see certain photos that remind you of a family member that is no longer with us?  I immediately start thinking about that person and the fun we had.  Maybe seeing that photo brings bad memories that you thought you had forgotten.

It is important especially today that we need to make certain that future generations of our families know who their ancestors were.  You don't need to get heavily into genealogy, but at least choosing the more important photos and documents will help tell your family history.

Most of our pictures today are scattered on various media - smart phones, tablets, external hard drives, computers, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram.  But do you really know which device has what photo?  Probably not unless you are super organized!

The first tip I can give you is to download all your photos to ONE device at least monthly.  Tag them and put them into a filing system you find easy to use.
