What is the best way to organize my photos?

There are so many different ways to organize your photos today.  Here are a few ways to do this.

Today I will give some examples of sorting photos by event.
If you prefer to look for photos by significant events in your family, this would be the best way to do this.  I would first suggest basic events such as:

• Family
• Sports
• Holidays
• Trips

Then you would further expand those main file folders to include:

• Family
• Maternal Family
• Paternal Family
• Children
• Grandchildren
• Names of children/grandchildren
• Holidays
• Christmas
• Easter
• Thanksgiving
• July 4th
• Memorial Day

Then if you have software that uses chronological as the main way to organize, you can further organize them by the above method within that structure.
